How do I apply to join a VolunTour Israel program?
To apply to VolunTour Israel, scroll down to the bottom of the summer program page and download an application form. Application forms must be completed, signed and the application fee attached. Once you have done this, please send to the address written at the bottom of your application form.

Does completion of the application process ensure my acceptance to the program?
Completion of this application does not constitute acceptance to the program. Acceptance to the program will require an interview. We may request written or verbal recommendations from the referees you have recorded on you application form.

When will I know if I've been accepted to the program?
A few days following your interview.

If I decide to cancel my place in the program will I receive a refund?
First of all, cancellation must be given in writing. Otherwise, refunds depend on the cancellation date. Please see the payment guidelines relating to the program that is available to download at the bottom of the program page.

Will the program's framework ensure the observance of halacha (Jewish law)?
The program will operate in a modern orthodox halachic framework.

Are there proper security arrangements for the program?
For details of the security arrangements please see the section titled "About Us". In addition to that information, it should be noted that a guard/medic will be with the group at all times.

Can I change my flight dates?
It is our strong preference that the group arrives together to Israel. If you would like to extend your stay once the program has concluded, you will be able to do so. However you will need to be in direct contact with our travel agent. Any costs incurred as a result of the change is the responsibility of the participants.

Will there be any free Shabbatot?
The program will have one free Shabbat.

Who will be the program staff?
The program staff will be selected and trained by the Israel Experience's Torah Division. The staff will all be experienced in working with similar groups in Israel, will set a good personal example and be an inspiration to the participants.

How can I contact my child in Israel?
VolunTour Israel will be arranging a cell phone hire service for the participants, bills to be paid by participants. Efforts will be made for internet access to be arranged.
